Young Vets Club is for children who believe that every animal matters.

For just £36 a year, your young animal lover can:

  • Learn from real vets through exciting magazines and updates packed with stories, challenges, and things to try at home
  • Sponsor an animal and get exclusive behind-the-scenes updates on how they and their friends are being helped.
  • Get hands-on with games, quizzes, and fun activities to do indoors, outdoors, or during the holidays.

Since 2003, Worldwide Veterinary Service has been helping animals around the world.

We send vital aid parcels to thousands of organisations working in the poorest areas, deliver expert veterinary training to raise the standard of care worldwide and mobilise our dedicated vets on the ground.

About Young Vets Club

Young Vets Club is run by WVS, a UK-registered charity (no. 1100485), registered with the Fundraising Regulator and operating since 2003.
Young Vets Club is designed for children aged 7–14. Content across the magazine, website and activities is created with this age range in mind - though plenty of younger animal lovers enjoy it too with a grown-up alongside them.
Absolutely - though we'd never tell the kids that. Young Vets Club builds scientific curiosity, compassion, global awareness and practical knowledge about animal care. It meets several areas of the primary and secondary curriculum, but more importantly it makes children genuinely excited about learning.

Membership & What's Included

£36 per year. This includes four quarterly magazines, collectible cards, animal updates, and a welcome pack for new members (welcome pack on initial sign up only).
Yes - you can choose a one-year subscription (does not renew automatically) or an annual auto-renewing subscription. Both are £36 per year.
Yes - when you enter the child's details, just ensure you use the name of the individual to whom you are gifting the membership. You can choose where the initial membership pack is sent: either to your house (for example if you wish to give them the pack yourself) or to the child's home. All future communications will go to the child's address.

Renewals & Cancellation

Only if you chose the annually recurring option. If so, payment is taken annually on your start date anniversary. Cancel at least 7 days before that date to avoid renewal.

You can cancel and request a refund within 14 days of your initial purchase under UK consumer law. If a welcome pack or magazine has already been sent, we may deduct the value of those items. After 14 days, subscriptions are non-refundable. Renewal payments are non-refundable once taken.

Safety & Trust

Yes. All content - magazines, website articles, games and activities - is reviewed by our in-house education team. Everything is designed to be age-appropriate for children aged 7–14.
No. While we cover real animal rescue and vet care, content is always presented in a positive, age-appropriate way that focuses on hope and happy outcomes - not graphic or distressing imagery.

Delivery

UK deliveries are by Royal Mail Tracked 48 Hour post, free of charge. International delivery is available but it does involve additional charges, and delivery times cannot be guaranteed.
